Legal
Terms of Service
Draft - last updated October 2026.
Placeholder pending legal review. This page is a working draft that describes intended product behaviour. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before Collabro launches publicly.
In short
- Collabro only helps creators find and talk to each other so they can collaborate and grow.
- Every decision - who you match with, what you agree, whether you meet, work or pay - is yours alone.
- Collabro is not part of any collaboration and is not responsible for what other creators say or do.
- Check people out for yourself, put agreements in writing and report anything that feels wrong.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Collabro (the website, the app and the installable app) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Collabro. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live), provide accurate information and only create one account for yourself.
2. What Collabro is - and what it isn't
Collabro is a networking platform. We help content creators discover each other, show mutual interest and start a conversation. That is the whole of our role: we connect people; we don't take part in what they decide to do together.
Collabro is not, and does not act as:
- a party to any collaboration, agreement or deal between creators;
- an agent, manager, talent agency, broker, employer or partner of any creator;
- a payment service, escrow or marketplace - we never hold, send or receive money for collaborations;
- a referee of whether a collaboration is fair, safe, legal or worth doing.
Showing you a profile, ranking it as a good fit or telling you that someone is interested is not a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of that person, their audience or their intentions.
3. Your decisions are your responsibility
You decide who to show interest in, who to match with, what to say, whether to collaborate and on what terms. You are solely responsible for those decisions and for their results. In particular, you are responsible for:
- doing your own checks on anyone you deal with before you rely on them;
- the terms you agree - deliverables, deadlines, credit, usage rights, fees and who pays what;
- meeting people, travelling and working with them, online or in person;
- following the laws and platform rules that apply to you, such as advertising and sponsorship disclosure rules, copyright, privacy and tax.
Collabro does not pressure, push or require anyone to collaborate, and does not take responsibility for any decision you or another creator makes.
4. We don't verify the people you meet
Profiles are written by their owners. We do not check identities, backgrounds, criminal records, follower counts, engagement, past work or claims that creators make about themselves. Follower counts are labelled self-reported unless stated otherwise. A confirmed email address only means the person controls that inbox. Treat everything on a profile as the creator's own claim.
5. Collaborations, agreements and payments
Collaborations are arranged directly between creators. We strongly recommend agreeing the details in writing before any work starts. Collabro is not responsible for, and will not compensate you for:
- work not delivered, delivered late or not as agreed;
- payments not made, refunds, chargebacks or any financial loss;
- disagreements over credit, ownership or how collaborative content is used;
- damage to reputation, accounts, audience, reach or growth;
- anything a creator does with information you chose to share with them.
6. Meeting in person and staying safe
If you decide to meet another creator, you do so at your own risk. Meet somewhere public, tell someone you trust where you'll be, keep conversations on Collabro until you're comfortable and never send money or private documents to someone you don't know. Use Block and Report whenever something feels wrong. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services first. Collabro is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of your profile, photos and messages. You give Collabro permission to store and display them as needed to run the service - for example, showing your profile to other creators in Discover. You are responsible for everything you post and confirm you have the right to post it. Don't post content that is unlawful, harassing, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights.
8. Community rules
- No spam, scams or impersonation.
- No harassment or hateful conduct.
- No misrepresenting your audience or follower count.
- Respect blocks and declined interest.
9. Moderation
We may review reported accounts and remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Moderation actions are logged. We are not able to monitor every profile or conversation and have no obligation to do so; reporting helps, but it does not guarantee that we will act or that another user is safe.
10. Disputes between creators
Any disagreement about a collaboration is between the creators involved, and they should resolve it between themselves. We may choose to look into a report, but we are not obliged to settle disputes or take sides. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Collabro from claims, losses and damages that arise out of disputes or dealings with other creators.
11. The service is provided “as is”
We work hard to keep Collabro useful, safe and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise that you will get matches, collaborations, followers, income or growth, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collabro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of income, opportunity, data, audience or reputation, arising from your use of the service or from anything another creator does. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
13. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against Collabro because of your content, your collaborations or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs that result, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other creators at risk.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Collabro grows. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Collabro after that means you accept the updated terms.
16. Independence
Collabro is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Collaborations are arranged directly between creators; Collabro is not a party to them.
